Bio:

Reed is a queer, trans artist based out of Tucson, AZ. Their work focuses on drawing attention to the tiny, often-overlooked details of the natural world, along with landscape compositions painted in vibrant colors. Celebration of the natural wourld is the central theme that ties their work together, as well as examinations of the boundaries between the natural and constructed worlds. Traditional media is their primary avenue of expression, with oil on canvas as their first and most enduring love. They have been painting in oils off and on for the last 17 years. Recently, they've taken to pyrography pens on wood panels, enhanced with watercolors. Occasionaly, they work in other mediums such as small woodcrafts, resin, pressed flowers, and murals.
